Friend of mine has it and she hates it....I never tryed it but I haven't heard anything positive about it.

I highly recommend the TRIA and have referred it to several people. I was very skeptical but decided to give it a try. I used it on my leg and forgot about it and when my hair grew in (yes it was a couple of weeks that I didn't shave lol) I had a big bare patch where I had used it so I am a converted skeptic! It has 5 settings and I can only do like a 3 and started with a 2 on the bikini. It works best with light to medium skin tone and the darker the hair the better.

I've only been using it a few days. Already saw a noticeable difference on my face (YES...I'm a furry middle-eastern woman. SHADDUP.) They say it takes a while to be effective on coarser, darker hair so no real obvious results on the bikini line yet. I think I will still be waxing for Hedo in 39, YES I SAID 39, days.

T&A suggested TRIA to me. though I burned a nasty hole in my lizard tattoo, otherwise it's awesome. just keep away from dark pigmentation, natural or otherwise LOL. Have used it 5 or 6 times over 6 weeks (overachiever, I am), haven't shaved legs in 3 days, no stubble. LOVE it!

I just looked at the TRIA website, and it says that you can't use it on dark skin or light hair. They even have a skin color chart, and being that I am somewhere close to the center range of lightest light and darkest dark, I don't know if I am considered light brown or medium brown according to their chart. I THINK I'm light brown, but the TRIA has a sensor that disables it if your skin is too brown. I don't wanna drop that kinda dough and the thing lock up on me when I try to use it, lol. At least they offer a money back guarantee.
