    Montego Bay Hotel

Has anyone stayed at a regular hotel in Montego Bay? Without making this too long of a story, we booked our March Hedo stay prior to booking the airline. Now we came up with a great deal on the flight from Minnesota. The only catch is that we arrive the night before our stay at Hedo. We were thinking we could find a regular hotel in MoBay for the night since we won't get out of the airport until near midnight. We could then crash at the hotel and catch the first shuttle to Hedo. We didn't think it would be worth paying for another night since we'll get in so late. But on the flip side we'll be able to enjoy almost a full first day at Hedo.
Or are there any other suggestions out there?

My first trip back in May of '09 I took a few bumps off my return flight. (yeah, that was AWESOME!!!
Anyway, the Rose Hall Hilton was very nice and not far from the airport.
And I often see it on special... although i am guessing it will still be a bit expensive.

I know it's an opinion thing, but try tripadvisor. If you're really just looking for a clean place to spend a few hours catching some shuteye...

Toby's, Doc Caves or The Wexford. All under $100 and right on the Hip Strip. Make sure to check in to the SuperClubs desk when you arrive and they will arrange to pick you up at the hotel in the morning, no need to go back to MBJ. We do this often, it is a good opportunity to see a little more of JA.

I agree I just recently stayed at Toby's ( I have stayed there about 6 times ) and it is 5 minutes from the airport. Check in with Superclubs and they will pick you up in the morning. It is clean and under a $ 100.00 bucks. They have a restaurant and a bar , food is good there. You are a block away from the ' hip strip '. There is some shopping and also a few bars.

We fly in the night before as well. Flights are often cheaper, there are no line-ups at customs, and then you get the whole next day at Hedo. We stay at the Ridgeway Guest House. Five minutes from the airport, and the owner will come and pick you up for free. $82 for the night.

I have stayed at Toby's....it's clean, cheap, and close to the airport. Only thing I didn't like was no safe's in the room....(front desk safe only)

Depending if there are red-eyes coming in.....early. Last time we did this we just told them what time we wanted to be picked up, which was 9:00. You also can hire your own cab....cost about 60-75 for two of you.
