Desire compared to others

We are thinking of going to desire around June. We have never been to a nudest resort or lifestyle resort. We are not into the lifestyle but like the idea of watching and being watched. We are wanting to try new things and want to see what everyone likes and don't like and were? Thank you for your info

We love Desire. The resort is small, intimate, and couples-only. PDAs are officially restricted to the upstairs jacuzzi area and the playroom adjacent to the disco, although the rules do get bent some (more so when there are groups there). Some have said the vibe of the resort is too tame, but we think it's about just right. The service is excellent and the food very good. The rooms are well maintained. Here is a discussion forum dedicated to Desire and is the best source for information for traveling there.

we have never been to Desire but we have heard from alot of ppl that go there and they say its not the big party place... if your looking for a laid back quite resort Desire is for you but we like the party resorts.... but as it has been said.... any resort is what you make it.... we always look for the high party resorts so we can party our ass's off.... but if thats not your kind of resort find one thats more laid back..... just enjoy your self.

This will be our trip this year. Not sure what month trying to figure that out based on the groups attending. After going to Hedo the groups that are there set the tone.

Would like up dated trip reports from Desire. When we were there years ago we were told some things were to be changing.

We just returned from our 1st trip to Desire We were there for 7 nights. The resort is very clean and nice. The personell are top notch. NOTE, stay away from the TIME SHARE PERSONELL! This resort has a membership/travel time share sales. Don't let them waste your time as they did with us. If I had to compare the resort between Hedo and Grand Lido Breezes. I think Desire leans toward Grand Lido. Very upscale, not nearly as open minded as Hedo. The food was good but not great, same as Lido. Plan on taking some extra money for beach beds reservation. I did not know of this extra cost. $20 per day. We had a great relaxing vacation, with some sexual fun also. Beach at night no problem. Al

Paying to reserve a beach bed is an option, NOT a requirement. With the number of beds on the beach, unless for some reason you HAVE to have a specific bed, there is no need to pay to reserve one. As far as a party atmosphere, on our nine trips, each one has been different. The couple fall trips we've taken have been very quiet, winter has been hit-and-miss, and summers have ROCKED! One June trip, two late July trips, all good!
