Can anyone who just visited give an update on improvements to the nude pool area and the disco?
Have they done anything about all the sea urchins in the nude beach water?

Nude Pool looked great. they filled in the little foot wash pool at the start of the steps.. The disco Still smells like Mold. We went thru it once and I wouldn't go back. As far as the ocean we didn't go in just stayed in thepool
Hi Any more of the new fans in dinning room? Would think they might install them for anniversary week.
Sea urchins? They are living, native creatures. What do you want them to do?
Disco still warm, stale.
Pool still has missing grates, holes in tile, scum stains at water level....
That new fan works AWESOME! and here's a hint: if you cant get that table, sit in the chairs closest to it! No kidding even proximity is good!

Sushi?
They were doing major repairs and updates and even had a whole section of rooms being repainted from top to bottom while we were there. Even saw a guy flushing the beer lines at the nude pool. No date on the rest of the improvements for the nude pool and no date for the install of the new fans, but we are assured that they are all going to be installed. The one new fan in the main dining room is amazing, when your dressed in costume it makes a big difference. We also found out there is one room with a whole new decor to it, again a trial, before the rest are to follow. We also got a taste of some of the new shows, and they were amazing as well. Part of the whole new entertainment package including new themes that will be announced as soon as they get the corporate approval to release them.
Cop..

As a community, I think everyone should do their part and pick up at least one Sea Urchin while they are there.
If you dont have gloves, just use your bare feet.
If you choose the latter method, finding them will be no problem, they will find you.
All kidding aside, I dont think they are that much of a problem.
Cheers,
Sarcastic Steve

Rule #1) Never argue with an idiot. They pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.
There was a guy there who got 10 (10!!!) Spines in his foot. A $300 doctor visit later, he went back in the ocean. Ansd got two or three MORE!
Dude. Stay in the pool! Or at least buy some water shoes!
Now thats dedication to swimming in the ocean!!!!!

I felt bad for him! I believe anestetic (sp?) And antibiotic. And, of course, extraction.
The problem is really NOT that bad!
Never step where I can't see! all kinda nasty little bugs in the seaweed too, just stay where you can see the sand, float over the rest of the stuff.
Even with water shoes on I ended up with two spines just under the skin on one foot in March. Now ware thicker better shoes and I know I will still end up with nicks and the ends in my feet some times from the Sea Urchins. It would take two dedicated staff all day, every day to get 90% of them moved out of the sandy area of the beach. Best bet, be very careful, thick water shoes and as posted, float above on a raft of some sort most of the time.
