Desire, last week of July 2012

Ok, have done Hedo 2 and 3 and need a change, just posting early to see who might be heading there/have been there and can give us the details.

Make sure where you ask where the "play room" off the disco is - it is in the back. Lots of fun there. Make sure you go down early for a seat or else you won't get one. Danny goes around with a clip board and keeps track of who sits where and if you want ganja, go off the resort and to the right to the cab station and they will hook you up for a hefty price (you will not get it on resort and be careful it is highly illegal!!!). Go off resort to the left and there is a lake there and clap and the crocs (huge) will come. I know it sounds odd, but it works, lol. There are baby crocs in the ponds by the front gate, throw some rocks in and they will come, lol. Anything else, ask away. We didn't like it compared to Hedo, but hopefully you will enjoy!!!

We returned from Hedo in July and feel the same way. First time we ever left Hedo feeling as if we didn't want to go back.
Booked Desire for July 29th to Aug 5th 2012. Really looking forward to it.

mac_r_a Im headed to Desire at the end of year. where you able to smoke ganja at the resort with no problem or is it something to be done in the shadows away from everyone?

Something that has to be done on your patio or in the bushes, lol. Never saw it out in the open the whole time we were there.

We are in this same boat. HIII was our absolute fav, HII was very good, but just not the same, so we're looking to try something else - likely Desire, but wont't be able to wait that long. Probably go in November - we'll let you know how it goes.

umm, Im good with the ganja, dont use it. How far away is it from airport? and what would the average is. Mostly american guests or other.

Airport is only about 15/20 mins away. It is people from all over, mostly US and Canada

We just got back from Desire 2 weeks ago. We have done both Hedos and Desire multiple times. We enjoyed Hedo 2 and Desire and would do both again. Our take is this. Comparing everything head to head we believe desire wins almost everything. Food, cleanliness, service, the disco and especially the ECs. I know many people will debate that, but it is just our opinion. As with all these vacations it depends on the people there the same time as you. We have been to all of them when there is a group and when there is not. I have found the hedo staff is more attentive when a group is there where the desire staff gives 100% all times. Having said this Hedo has a special place in our hearts. I would describe Hedo as a sexual place where desire is more sensual. In terms of non sexual extracurricular activities, Jamaica is a lot more open. Desire has a strict policy and will throw you out of the resort. We once heard someone was in the disco bathroom with something. 5 min later 3 security guards and the manager were there. So participate at your own risk. Hope this helps.
