No fear ther in regards to the participation dilema; we dont. But thank you for the info, could you tell me how long it took to get there from airport, and what you didnt like about the resort. Just doing my due diligence! Nice bikini BTW

We traveled to Desire in June with the Hellians and Castaway travel. The Hellians had been been traveling to H3 for over ten years as the Quad Squad. We voted to move the trip to Desire after H3 closed. It was a wonderful trip. As I think most would agree, the crowd defines the experience not the location. Because we were traveling with a group the only thing that really was different was the location. And Desire is a nicer more upscale location with better food and outstanding service. The come soon non attitude does not exist at Desire. For example, our group asked for the pool to be open at night. The next day is was open after the disco. I am not sure why the other poster had problems with the pizza. Every time we ask for a pizza it was made fresh for us. My wife asked for grilled grouper. She was told they did not have but would have if for her the next day and they did. Security is amazing. One day a guy from another resort was covertly trying to take picture while walking on the beach. Security came from three directions. He tried to run was tackled the camera confiscated and the pictures were deleted. The only problem for us is that the rooms are small and there is no closet or storage space so you have to live out of a suitcase. Other than that it is a great resort and just a 15 min ride from the airport

Pornstar, You as what we did not like at Desire. not being able to fuck on the very nice beach beds, finding myself more interested in finding the crocs then doing much at all with in the resort other then eat the great food. Like miamivice69 posted. It is the people that make a trip and when we were there no one was talking with anyone not "with" them. If we go back we will plan on at least two days with a driver going to see the Maya temples and such and only if we are with a group who, like the Hellians, take over the place.

Four time visitors to Desire, and we've never gone as part of a group (other than joining a Yahoo group). First-timers have to try a little harder, as they sort out the resort schedule, and by schedule, I mean where you find what you want. If meeting/greeting in the pool wasn't good enough, the 4-7pm time at the rooftop Jacuzzi is hard to beat. Bed activity, bar activity (body shots), general hot tub fun. Licor 43 and/or chocolate syrup (supplied by the bar) is a great conversation(?) starter. Once dinner is over, the lobby bar area is a great meeting place, with entertainment prior to the disco/music timeframe.
No sex at the beach beds (well, not daytime..)? For us, the Jacuzzi area rooftop beds at night are as good as it gets anywhere we have been (including H2). And yeah, the food is great (even the late night pizza).

So nice to hear that, and love the 4-7 pm time, its basically happy hour, add a nude pool, and well you get the idea. Am curious though on getting the cabana's/beach bed. How do you go about this?

There are 20+ beach beds, with a few reserved for the jacuzzi suites. You can also reserve one for the week ($), or simply show up and use one. Seldom a problem to find an available beach bed.
And yes, the Jacuzzi afternoon time slot is a very happy hour(s).

it looks like after spending the past 3 summers at Hedo( h2 twice an h3 once) we are SO looking forward to a change. As far as were concerned, Hedo needs to make huge improvements before we spend anymore of our $$ there! We dont mind the laid back attitude during the day, after partying most of the night, we kind of like taking it easy during the day!! July cant come soon enough. Excited to try Desire!! We'll probably see you there Pornstar as we usually make our summer trips the last week of July!!!

You can have a great time there. It all depends on the week and the guest list, some 'activities' that are very open this week may be more under cover next week. So find out in time..before booking !
