Desire?

Okay, we loved H2. Had an absolute blast.

By chance, we have a week of timeshare to use and a week in October to go.

Is Desire worth it? The reviews here are harsh, the reviews other places generally rave about it.

Any input?

If you loved Hedo, I wouldn't bother with Desire. It is a very nice, catered to resort, but day time life and even most evening life suck (and not in a good way!!!). Here is our repost from last December

Woody and Lynn, You'll find this website very Hedo positive, as almost all of us who have been around for a while are big Hedo fans. That being said we generally do about 3 Hedo trips a year and 1 Desire trip every other year. We like Hedo better, but Desire has a lot going for it. Whenever we are there we meet people who love Desire and say they'll never be back to Hedo.
Desire is more upscale, better food and service - hedo has more of a frat party atmosphere in the day time which we enjoy. After 7 Hedo trips in the last 2 years we are booked for Desire 1st week of Oct just for a change. We will have fun at Desire.

This is a big Hedo site, afterall, before Hedo 3 closed down this was the 4Hedo forum, lol. Now it is an adult travel forum to include all resorts, which I think was a great idea (and a lot of work!!!)
