Thinking about a change from HEDO to Maybe Desires

My wife and I would like to try something different this year but we are not sure if the other nude resorts like Desires or Tempations are as sexually charging. Can you tell me if at Desires or Temptations or any other place you can be nude, get intimate, and not worry? When we go to Hedo, we enjoy just going with the flow and if my wife wanted to satisfy an urge like a nice BJ it could be done. Can we do these things any other place? Please share you experience. Thanks.

Definitely can't do that at Temptations. We like Temptations but it is not Hedo. Some of the pool games are rather risque but graphic PDA's are strongly discouraged.

Desire is your place. We've been once and are booked for our second trip this November. We've not been to H2, so can't offer any firsthand comparisons. Based on our research and the fact that Desire is couples only, we find Desire appeals to us almost perfectly. Desire is small, intimate, and can be as mild or wild as you make it. PDAs are normally reserved for the jacuzzi area or playroom, but can happen elsewhere if the stars align.

Hey Phillygirl22, are you talking about caliente in tampa bay, fl? We live near there and have spent a day and it's nothing like H2 so I'm hoping there is another one somewhere

Caliente Caribe in the Dominican Republic - just make sure you book during an erotic week. Standard weeks do not allow for PDA.

Also, someone posted on here recently of a 1 year old lifestyle resort in Spain. it is called Spice. Think website is www.spicelifestyle.com but don't hold me to it. Most of the reviews I have read are positive.

I was referring to DR, and purely based on internet reading/review, not personal experience.
I would be willing to bet if enough people go, it will be "just like Hedo" only in much better condition! (until their ownership becomes greedy, too...)

Temptation is not a nude resort. Women can be topless but it is not for nudists. PDAs are definitely not allowed there.

As for Desire... daytime PDAs are not the custom there on the main grounds or in the pool areas and would be frowned upon by staff and and I assume most guests. It is much more laid back, civil, and less of a daytime party atmosphere than at Hedo. Some PDAs do happen in the hottub area around the happy hour time. Also, Desire is on a public beach with families and children walking through. So if you are a beach person PDAs are definitely not an option there. Guests are expected to be respectful of the general public and obey public indecency laws.

Check out our trip report - we were not ahhpy with Desire after being Hedo people. It was a boring place where you could be naked during the day. If you like the social atmosphere of Hedo, Desire is not for you

We have some friends that have been to Desire, but not Hedonism. We just got from Hedonism, but have never been to Desire. We will get together soon and compare notes.

Check out my trip report on caribe in the Dominican republic. It's in the forum section under caribe. Very nice place. The more people start going there the sooner we will all have another option. I think you can play there anytime. Even if a group is not doing a take over. Swinglifestyle travel out of tampa (877-90-swing) is doing alot of work with caribe.

Been to both H2 and Desire. We think it depends on what you like. Hedo is like a Frat Party, much more laid back, not as fancy/formal and kinda carefree. Desire was much more upscale and "romantic". They didn't like PDA except for up at the Hottub on the roof and there anything goes. Desire has nicer rooms, nicer facilities and better restaurants. We liked the fact that Desire is 1. clothing optional everywhere. 2. no singles 3. the beds on the beach are awesome! We like Hedo better for the 1. pool bar and hottub. 2. PDA is kinda OK anywhere on the nude side. 3. It's Jamaica...great ganja! But we just got back from Hedo, first time we went in June. Resort was only maybe 1/3 full, our previous trips had been in Feb. when the resort was 80% full. More people = more fun to us. Desire we went in May with a group, the group didn't "mix" well and it was an OK week, but we think we are going to go back to Desire next June and give it another try, it's a much nicer resort. Hedo needs some work. We like to think of Hedo as a "Holiday Inn" type and Desire as a "Hilton" type. Hope this helps you some. It really depends on the people in way. If the people are cool, then the resort is secondary.

No problem Calliope. I agree options are good. We alway check with as many as we can. I just wanted to give them someone to ask about being able to "play" during regular weeks. I think this is what they are going more towards and away from being viewed as a nudist resort. I want all three resorts to do great. The way we see it is if they are all doing well it will lead to better prices and better resorts for all of us :-)

Looking for information on Desires. My wife and I have been to Hedo 2 & 3 numerous times.We are looking for a change. Does anybody have any input? Is Desires just like Hedo 2 or is it more reserved? We've been told that the resort is big with timeshare sales. Is this true? The last thing we want is to go on vacation and get chased around by a timeshare salesperson. We are looking to go in March 2012. Any information would help.
