Why do they close the nude pool from 7 to 10 PM?

Seriously- why? To me, that is the best time of day in the pool- people are relaxed, the sun is going down, things are beginning to happen..
This needs to change- it is such a bummer when they close the bar down.. can someone explain this to me?

No explaination, but there is ice and soda, bring some music that you like, your cup and a bottle of Appleton and you have a nice easy party while everyone else is dining or theme partying.

Honestly, we thought it was just the hot tub that was technically closed. To us that seems like a good time as that pool needs to be cleaned daily, makes everyone get some dinner, and everyone gets recharged for the late night festivities.

It was pretty rank by the end of some days....glad they shut down to clean! Wouldnt even mind a mid day "skimming" ... (they need something that absorbs rum cream!! Lol)

When the resort is busy, it gets pretty nasty in the tub and pool by 7pm and they definitely need to be cleaned up....thus a schedule (of JA sorts) is born. I think it's a good thing. Plus it gives you the needed downtime to get ready for dinner and the evening festivities....and it pushes people to dinner....so they'll eat and soak up some of that alcohol. All good things!

One thing we've always noticed (at least for the time of year that we go, late fall usually) is that a lot of the pool/tub crowd tends to wander down to the beach around 5:30-6:00'ish to catch the last rays of the day and to get the all-important pics of the sunset. It tends to get cooler rather quickly once the sun goes down, so people tend to wander off to prep for dinner or just to catch a little downtime before the night picks back up. Not sure how this would play out in the middle of summer when the sun is out and it's warm until 7:30-8:00'ish.

I just know it killed our party at least twice during our last trip. Yeah- we all got dressed and went to dinner- but would have enjoyed ourselves more by being able to stay in the pool and keep partying. We don't like a schedule at all- much less one telling us we need to move or stop our party!

The early end of that is not bad - honestly, after 5 years we have learned to NAP pre-dinner. But on the odd chance that we finish dinner early and opt out of the disco, it's SUCH a bummer to wait until they open up again...remember, 10 pm is still 10 pm JAMAICA time...

Seems in April they do all the cleaning in the morning, I can't remember ever being tossed from the hot tub, just having the bar close down and everyone just staying if they wanted. I'm a beach guy so I'm not so dependable with what goes on up there especially after a full day on the beach
