H2 and shade

We are off with Krewe de Crazy in 10 days. We loved the quad pool in the day at 3, because it had all day shade. The Mrs. is as white as a ghost, and CANNOT tan. Is there shade in the nude pool daytime? Or if necessary the prude pool?

There's limited shade at the prude pool during many times of the day, but it does move, and it's not a huge area. The "tweener" prude pool has good amounts of shade, but the main prude pool has none at all. There's also some shade to be had under trees on the nude beach.

Yes, there is, but you have to sort of follow it around during the day. If I'm not mistaken there is always some shade somewhere in the pool all day.

Get out to the nude beack early in the morning and snag the chairs under the tree.

Yep, ColonelPanic is absolutely right. For mid-afternoon shade the "Tweener" pool is great which also has a close bar, food and a lounge hut which is also covered. And ditto mncouple, if you want a coveted shade tree on the nude beach you gotta get there early. Jeff

Thanks all for the info. We loved the quad pool at H3 during the day, so sad to see it closed. We see we will be there the same time as Jeff & Cindy. We just celebrated our 3rd Anniversary; we see your 4th is approaching. Congratulations !!!!!! We will say "hello" if we see ya. Robin & Chris

You will almost always find me in the shade at the nude pool In the a.m. it's on the right (By the grill) and on the other side in the afternoon... There isn't a whole lot of it and space is at a premium.
The nude side (which now seems to be clothing optional) has tons of shade all day long. This pool also has a bar you can sit at while in the pool.

My wife is a melanoma survivor and must stay in shaded and sunscreened, but with some 50 sunscreen and the big tree at the Nude beach she has not had any issue's when we went last time. The Nude pool is shaded as the day goes on. She will be able to make it work..no worries!
