Nude or Prude

Is there any real advantage on staying on the nude side vs the prude side for room selection? We have been to Hedo III several times, we love the Quad area. Will II have the selection of an area comparable to? Excellent bar area with volley ball an the space to sun?

Only difference is about a 3-4 minute walk from the prude side to the nude side where 95% of the activity is..All rooms are identical. I have never been to III but basically there is nude or prude, no combined area. The main pool does have volleyball net and you can be topless only in that area unless you are with a "takeover" group. Prude hot tub is small, maybe 8-10 people capacity--never have seen anyone in it. The nude side is where all the action is---pool is smaller but the hot tub is huge! They say seats 50 but I have seen over 200 in it with standing room only

We prefer to stay on nude side just because is closer to the party but have stayed on the prude side when there were budget constraints - always get ocean view though as one downside to booking prude garden is they can put you in a room that is next to the highway--hear the highway noise can be bothersome.

Stay on nude side your close to the nude pool where stated all the action is, but you still have to walk the distance to the main dining room to eat, the piano bar and the disco. Stay on the prude side and your near all that but have to take that walk to the nude pool. So really, your going to end up walking the same amount in the end anyway. If money is the issue, take prude and don't worry. There is no such thing as a bad room at Hedo.

The walk from the prude side to the nude side along the beach is fairly short and VERY pleasant. The proximity to the dining room and other points of interest is a real plus. Remember, you'll be walking to the nude pool/beach in flip flops or barefoot, but you may be walking to the dining room/disco/piano bar in 7" heels (at least my beautiful wife does). The shorter walk in the heels is nice. I would recommend an oceanview prude since the cost difference between OVP and GVP is fairly small and the OVP is much cheaper than even a H Block (Gardenview) nude room.

We always book Oceanview prude and try to get as close to the nude side as we can, gets us central to everything and a short walk to the nude pool, dining room, tennis courts etc.

We booked prude garden once in our 4 previous trips. The room was the second last before the fence near the road. We stayed there for about 10 minutes before we upgraded to ocean nude (all that was left that week) We now always book garden nude as it is the closest to where we spend most of our time.

This year will be our first Prude Side stay!! Ocean view!! We have always stayed nude side Ocean butt this way we are staying for two weeks!!!
The plus side is there is a bar on the way to the Nude Pool!!!

Never saw the point of paying up for the nude side to have the same room and save a short walk (unless you want the jacuzzi room).

Then again, on our last trip we were upgraded to nude side (apparently Prude was overbooked)...pay prude prices for the nude side room...best of both.

We just can't justify the extra cost on the nude side. For the extra 3-5 minutes walk to the prude rooms you can get a whole extra night's stay with a one week booking. The rooms are all the same and the extra 10-15 minutes of walking per day is hardly noticable when the one thing we have lots of at Hedo is time.

We have stayed on both, but the last couple of times we stayed on the prude side and stayed and extra day, but to each there own, can't go wrong with either side.

You'll like it over there. Our first two trips were on the nude side, the second one was in one of the jacuzzi rooms closest to Delroy's. That was a great room, but it's about $1,000 more for 9 to 10 days than a prude oceanview room. We like being close to the dining room, disco and piano bar. The only thing is that you have to double check that you have everything you'll need for the day before you go down to the nude side because you won't want to make the walk back to get what you forgot. We handle that by making sure the beach bag has everything we need on day one and then we don't take anything out of it in the room. Just "grab and go" everyday!

Our first trip we booked Prude ocean and they upgraded us to nude side right behind the Lion!! Second trip booked ocean jacuzzi. That was nice but didn't spend anytime in it and we were down by the dive shop!! Last year we booked prude side again and they upgraded us to nude ocean second floor behind the dive shop!! This year I think they are booked up so no upgrade!! The only good thing is we will have some group members on the nude side so we can drop stuff in there room!! I do the same with the Beach Bag!! Grab & Go!!!

At Hedo 3 they had the pool front rooms at the quad. It was worth the extra money to step out of you room naked, fall into the pool and wade over for the morning's bloody mary. You don't reallt have a huge difference in H2. It is a longer walk to the "action" on the nude side from the garden side. Is it worth $50-$200 a night for a one minute walk??? up to you...We leave the room naked regardless

Our favorite room, is 2229 which is pretty much behind the massage shack--it is halfway between the dining area and the nude pool Not that we have ever had a problem or know of anyone that did, we do prefer the second floor so no one can come in through a window and walk away with anything Before our first trip we had heard rumors of room break ins but think the security staff they have now are on their J-O-B
