Should you worry about pictures? Yes you should panic.

You should assume that someone really wants a picture of YOU, because you are famous, very popular, doing something outrageous etc. Or you should assume that nobody cares about you, just their partners and close friends. You should then assume that nobody you know will be trolling the net for pictures of YOU. And if they do then they already know you are famous etc. (see above)

In reality, nobody will be filming you reading a book, drinking a glass of 'water', or engaging in quiet conversation.

If you put on a 'show' by the grotto, then you 'might' become the next not very exciting latest net star (for 50 seconds).

Go worry about something important, like does you sunscreen match your skin color, or have you had too few drinks today.

Relax and go have fun (but don't smile to the camera!)

Hedo is a place for freedom and security should enforce the no-camera policy on the nude side. Those who take pictures of others without their consent are wrong. Each and everyone has the right to enjoy the nude side with no fear of being posted on the Internet.

There was a person taking photos while we were there on the nude side... He was actually very careful not to get any people in his pics. How do we know this? Because security took his camera, and went through every photo on it to make sure. :-) I feel quite comfortable with the security policies in place. Another time a gentleman came around to all of us at the nude pool and asked if it was okay if he took some pics of his wife... Just so we all knew he wasn`t taking voyeur pics... Nice move for sure.

Just picked up an amazing underwater camera that we would love to utilize on the trip. Clothed as well as not so clothed. Not interested in taking pics of anyone besides my Mrs. and myself unless we meet some new friends that are interested in joining in the fun...lol

I think that is unfair. I have heard others being sarcastic when we have asked not to have our pictures taken in groups or theme nights as "to get over ourselves". We are not famous not beautiful and most likely no one would want to see our pictures, however if for some strange reason our pictures were identified it we could have serious repercussions professionally. Then some might say if your that worried then maybe this is not the place for you, again I disagree. Hedo is the perfect place to escape from real life, however those who go should not have to worry about being photographed. Hedo is a place of escapism and relaxation, privacy is included. Truthfully most people do not inform their employers, friends or family where they are staying, that's why we walk over to Sandals to take couple photo's. To those who do not want to photographed avoid the camera, for those who photograph don't judge those who decline. In today's world any photo via email or private page can and might be discovered. For the very most part people are respectful with their cameras but beware.

Well said, one would assume that consenting adults enjoying vacation should not have to be concerned about amateur paparazzi invading their privacy.

You`re absolutely right, no question. While I was working in the middle east a few years back, it was actually an offence to take someone`s picture without consent... On the good side, the EC`s will tell you when there`s an event that can or cannot be photographed, and of course security watches the nude area very closely. They`re not shy, they WILL and DO take your camera if you take photos in the nude area. They go through every photo on the camera to make sure no one `accidentally` was captured. Good for them.

Pretty much have to agree with PNK.
While security will do their thing about pictures, be aware that cellphones can upload pix to the cloud in seconds. So even if security erases them, they are in the cloud. Then there are the people on the Sandles boat that cruises past the beach a few times a day, what's security doing about that.
Every once in a while I do an Internet search for Hedo pictures, and surprisingly, there aren't that many with guest in them, that aren't posed. Remember that the vast majority of guests are there to have a good time, and any pictures they take are for private viewing only.

We have to remind people of this very thing, respect, often.
Our group has it's own costume contest every night after the main show on the pool deck and some of our people can get really involved in the costumes, and people come out and most ask before taking pics but some just start taking pictures and then I have to go over and ask them to not take pictures without permission. Most of our people won't mind, so just ask. But some do.
Simple rules but like everywhere there is always someone who doesn't get it.
