I whole heartedly agree with that rule. A friend of ours this year kept pulling out his phone to check it right at the table at the nude pool. I freaked the first time. Not that I didn't trust him, it was just what others might of thought.

We are newbies and plan to take pics of us in the normal places. Hedo sigh things like that but if we wanted people to know we were there we would tell them....not have it show up on a web site. We see it this way...we have our normal life and a hedo life and they do not mix in the real world. Just how we feel.
I would have no problem throwing anyones ipad, laptop, phone kindle or any other device pointed in our direction into the pool.... sue me later!!!!!

Yes, depends, and lets be honest, stay on your guard at all times. Too many stupid photo run in's over the years, people are careless with the dam cameras, soon as we see a phone, ipad, camera, we exfil.

I love this policy! What resort is this? We're not thrilled with the inconsiderate approach many people take with cameras and phones. But it's gotten to the point where it's become a lost cause. Some people just can't be without their smart phones.

It can be a hassle but I think sometimes the best approach is to stay disguised. We try to keep sunglasses and beach hats on during he day. We try to incorporate masks into our evening theme nights. It's just too easy for someone to pick up a smartphone and take a picture without anyone knowing. I know the odds are slim that someone we know might spot us in a picture on the WWW but it's one of those things where once the damage is done it can't be undone so we err on the side of caution.

Yes you should worry! We just got back Sunday and there were three separate instances where people were on the beach and one guy actually holding up his phone AT the hot tub....looked like he was taking a video. Security was told and went and kicked the guy out of the hot tub area. They said he told them he just got there and didn't know about the no camera/phone policy. Ya right.. WTF. Stupid people getting a cheap porn fix causing problems and ruin other people's fun. Ridiculous. There should be signs everywhere stating no digital equipment whatsoever allowed. If you need to bring your phone to the beach or the hot tub to use, please just stay home. Why do retards think its ok to text on their phones while on the beach and make everyone uncomfortable. I wish security would take the phones away, very ignorant to have those out.

Was there not a waiver to be signed on check in, a few years ago, that stated the rules about photography.
Simple, you take a picture, you now know the rule, you lose your camera, you get ejected from the resort.
Life is too short for drama and petty things, so kiss slowly,
laugh insanely, fuck like you're the star of a porn film, and forgive quickly.

I took pictures of the resort very early one morning. Nude pool was closed at that time but I asked the staff if I could take a few pictures. They said yes but but do it fast. None of our pics have a guest in them. We had a few pictures of us taken at night during our groups event. Not one person in the background. I don't understand how people think or don't think that taking a picture of someone they don't know nude is ok. The place is about having a good and not about thinking about others pics. If you need to check mail or whatever do it in the morning in your room. You don't need your phone at your side during the day. I'm the world will make it without you for one week. If you want pics get your ass out of bed early before others get up and take your pics. I do like the idea of no devices at all at check in.

I like the idea of no electrical devices except in rooms and the free wifi area they are doing outside the piano bar!

For this to work it would have to be strictly enforced by Security...not the sporadic rule enforcement we have witnessed in the past.

Most of the photography we've witnessed (and admittedly this is not a large sample size) has been in front of the nude beach sign or the Hedo sign on the jetty/dock. Usually people who want pictures of Delroy's or the grotto etc… get up early so as to avoid other guests. Even when we've seen people taking pictures on the beach or in the ocean the photographer is going to great lengths to avoid having other guests in the background.

The only exception would be the dining hall at events such as the school girl night etc… Last year a gentleman was filming the costume judging portion of the show but immediately stopped when the EC's and other staff were alerted.

Be aware of cameras or the possibility thereof but also bear in mind that most other Hedo guests are just like you in that they're conscientious and easy going.

All this conversation about cameras and photos has got us befuddled. Our first trip to Hedonism 2 is just 112 days away and we are really excited about getting some beach/jetty/Hedo sign photos. Now we're debating if it's worth dragging all the Nikon equipment to have it just sit in the safe (if it fits).

    Help!!!!

Sure take pics just don't point at the beach. It's really not hard to keep others out of the camera. Mornings are your friend for pics.

    Exactly.

Decent litmus test - If you're the type of person who wonders whether its appropriate to take pictures you're probably the type who need not worry.

We just got back and there were no issues. It was very clear when a picture was about to be taken. There were only two exceptions. 1. During a costume contest a man took a picture. He was quickly corrected and stopped the show. He was taking a picture of his wife, but other contestants were on stage too. 2 On our catamaran trip, a boat passed by and all the cameras went up. I was one of the few missing clothes, so I was a target. I just turned my head away. They can enjoy the picture of my boobies if they want, but not with my face attached.
