Timberline lodge and Resort?

Just a questions to see if anyone has been to Timberline lodge and resort in TN. Would love to get a former guests perspective. We had Hedo booked but airfare jumped, so looks like a domestic vacation this year. Wondered if it was somewhat Hedo like If anyone has been there please give us your perspective!

we were at timberline about 1 year ago. the owners were doing alot of work on fixing it up at that time.
we enjoyed our weekend there but enjoyed some other spots better.
check out live oak resort in texas, mountain creek grove in georgia, northaven in michigan.

Caliente in Tampa and Paradise Valley in Ga. Yes I 've noticed the surge in Airfare also. Double what it was last year. We've been to both of these and while they're not quite Hedo, they do have a lot in common. A bit wilder than your typical nudist resort.
Neither are all inclusive, so the food an drink are $$$.

Timberline lodge is 6,000 feet , Silcox hut is 7,000 feet the highest operation point is 8,540 feet and the lowest operation point is 4,850 feet
