N Resort as an option to HII

We're looking to switch up our Christmas trip to the N Resort. Anybody with fresh information on the N, please post here. I'll check Dennyp too.

We were there for Christmas and we are on our way back next month. For us this is our place. We are planning on spending many vacations at N. I will post a trip report when I get back, I am looking forward to the changes since December 2010.

We will be there in 28 days and have plans to post daily information. If that fails I will definately post a trip report when we get back.

At this point I don't think N is even trying to replace or be an alternative to Hedo II. Their mission statement actually states they are not another Hedo. At this point I don't care either way. I am just excited to be able to check out another resort and be able to enjoy another opportunity for a nude vacation.

If you have piercings in places other than your ears be sure to check out their rules before booking. (which seem to change daily)

I was on there home page..where did you see the rules about piercings? I only have my ears and bellybutton and hubby doesn't have any but you have me curious that they have rules about this.

That thread states that they had a no-piercings-below-the-waist rule, but it was recently rescinded. I have no direct knowledge, just Google.

Glad it was recinded, but that is one of the most rediculous rules I have ever heard of. Guess wouldn't be able to go since I have my hood peirced. Silliness!!!

I'd attribute it to N trying to find it's place in the world. They are actively trying to NOT be another Hedo (for what reason, I'm not sure) and so I think they're wrestling with how to best attract the clientele that they want.

I think that is accurate...some AANR resorts ban genital piercings and N is trying to attract the naturist demographic. I think the first year will be a lot of trial and error until they can figure out what will work and what won't.

I have stayed there it use to be a family resort when we were there they had black outs it was bad no electric or ac candles for almost 2 days the food was worse then hedo which is amazing very small buffet very small beach and one rest that we had to walk through water to get there. another thing I did not like is they took our passports away and returned them upon checkout.

We are going to HII this year for NYE. They had great entertainment NYE 2009 and so we decided to go again for our 2nd trip.

Are you planning on staying through NYE? If so, you will have to tell us about the entertainment they have there.

Was anyone else on this forum there this past NYE, what was it like?

We're just not fans of the north coast. Too windy and rough too often... unlike Negril, which is generally so tranquil and great for watersports & floating. Plus the view up the beach is so nice from Hedo.

We have been to both. If you want a really laid back vacation.......then go to "N". If you want to have lots of fun and lots of food choices..........then Hedo II is the only way to go. "N" is very nice, "But it Ain't Hedo".
