So when does your Hedo vacation REALLY start?

Is it when you are planning the trip or when you make your 1st deposit?
How about when you make your final payment and get confirmation?
Perhaps when you leave work for your final time before your trip?
Or when the jet door closes behind you and you are airborne to Jamaica?
Maybe after you clear customs or board the bus?
Or is it when you have your 1st drink at the resort?

My vay-cay really starts after my last payment about 30 days out when I can truly enjoy the countdown (at least in my mind).

Less than 60 days and counting now to that time and then the serious costume and "accessories" packing begins.

June 18-26 is going to be a special time (again) and I promise not as much laptop work time this year---especially after all my FantasyFester and KrewedeKrazyLifer friends are safe at Hedo...

Not til we get to the resort and we are naked at the pool with a drink in our hands. Everything else is just work to get there.
    So do whatever it takes

Yes, there is the mental and emotional start and then there is the physical moment that a true vacation starts.,,,,

Don't get me wrong we definately start getting excited about it! Like now because it is only 13 days away....but we still have to work and as much as I love my children I still have to cook, clean, do laundry etc. Planes get delayed things happen. So as much as the emotional stuff like packing and buying stuff is fun and exciting for us it truly isn't til we are naked by the pool with any alcoholic drink we can find in our hands!

It starts for us once we've made it through security and start drinking at the airport bar. At that point, we have no responsibility to get our asses anywhere, nor make any more decisions. At that point, the stress is gone and we're on autopilot!

That said, another important milestone is starting the tanning process 30 days before. We cook in the beds every day, and that starts in a little over a month! WOO HOO!

I agree with bibabe; Anything can happen en route to the resort.
The decompression (no pun intended fellow divers) is when you drop your clothes at the resort.

My flight usually arrives before the room is ready, so its straight to the nude pool and get naked and get a drink.

    Cheers

Mentaly and emotionaly; Unfortunatly I am a slave (not like that to you BDSM fans ) to my clients and their schedules.
Even though I booked and paid in early January, I am always wondering if I am going to be able to keep my reservation in late April.
I still pretan, prepare and keep in contact with all the old Hedo friends from last year and few new ones too, but I am always considering contingency plans.

I havent had to postpone or cancel a trip yet.
    See you in April!

Anyone feel free to correct me but I think it is officially 2 or 4 pm or something like that.
Rooms are usually ready before then.

However, if your room isnt ready, they will watch your bags and you can head to the bar or pool, or tour the resort while you are waiting.

Spend the rest of the day at the nude pool and you can go complete your check in when ever you like.
If you stay at the nude pool long enough, your bags will probably be in your room when you back to the front desk.
    Its all good.

We have always been told that checkin is at 3 but never once have we had to wait for our room. We actually arrived at the resort last year at 11:30 a.m. and we got our room right away.

You may be right, in my 6 prior times at Hedo I've never had to wait for a room but then again the earliest I've ever arrived is 1 PM or so....
