    Mosquitoes in April

Hmmm ok not your typical subject on an adult forum, but this will be our first trip to this side of the island. We have been to Hedo III 6 times, all in April, and only on one trip there have we encountered a few evenings where mosquitoes were somewhat bad. Is there a mosquitoe problem at Hedo II in April or is it similar to Hedo III. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

They spray the dining room so it will not be a problem. Wearing perfume also is not a problem.

The last few trips, if there were bugs around, they went through the property with the fogger tractor...(diesel & malathion smoke most likely) If you encounter that, go inside til it dissipates...not good for you.

It was only once or twice and I think it was november, not april. We've never had bug problems there. I usually bring a small bugspray...get it in the impulse buy area at the registers at Walmart. Have never used it. Rudy puts itin his golf bag when we get home.

    So don't worry about it,.

They do spray the resort quite allot, I have never had bug issues there either. Only once did I have some ants , they were really small , I told the housekeeper she sprayed in the room and had no more issues. Some people have a problem with sand fleas though mostly at night.

I used to go in Nov and there were annoying little no-see-em type annoyers chewing my ankles right after dark. Seven trips in April, not a bite.

I don't recall seeing a mosquito out of two trips in April under our belt.
