Plane or Taxi???

Morning all,
Ok so I know this question has probably been asked before but I couldn't find the thread. SO---my wife was wondering if the little plane hop from the airport to H2, is something to "experience" at least once or is it easier to just take the taxi? This will be only our 2nd time to Hedo, any recommendations?

Save your money and book an extra day at Hedo. 24 hours extra at Hedo is better money spent than the plane ride. Bus ride adds to the excitment

Well, I can tell you that as of January 31,2011 the going rate roundtrip PER PERSON is 210.00!!!!! (108.00pp one way) We have taken the plane only once as we did not think the extra money was worth it. (8+ trips)The plane ride will get you there faster (takes about 15 minutes). So, the bus takes about an hour longer...but we have met our best Hedo friends on the bus!!!! Go ahead and experience it if the money doesn't make or break you!!! HAVE FUN!

hedo_rc .....I'm with you on that one!!! Good advice! If you have the extra money book another night!

We like to take Tim Air one way, plus the view is great.

The plane is great, the view is fantastic. Last trip I don't know if we really saved that much time after loading and waiting for the pilot, I really enjoyed the flight, Liz on the other hand was stuck in the back with the luggage (she was the lightest). This year we get in too late to fly.....so its the bus.

We look forward to the bus ride every year. Besides, it's the only way to get a dragon stout when you get there!

We take Tim air every trip we just love it. Nothing like being at Hedo in 15 minutes then taking the bus. I would at least do it once for the experience.

We took the shuttle the first time. We had half a dozen hedoites, and the half a dozen Breezes people. So the trip was rather docile. The ride was bumpy, and exhausting, and terrifying. But after being jerked around for that long ride, we finally made it to our home away from home.

We took Tim Airlines back to the airport. To some degree, since it was the last day, we could take a few more minutes before we had to leave. They seemed to cater to our time, and unlike the shuttle bus, we didn't have to be ready when the bus was leaving.

Also, the flight was short, but did it show some beauty you would not have seen otherwise. I've uploaded the first 3 minutes of the flight we took that day, using a wide angle Hero HD camera. The quality of the video is good, albeit, the cameraman didn't do that great of a job.

At 1:30 you will see the ganja fields on the opposite side of the mountain from hedo, and then it turns back around to get a nice view of the Hedo Beach.

Since it was the last day for us, the thrill of a private flight in that beautiful weather made it less hard to deal with it. We were having a good time, even though we were leaving our home away from home.

i suspect, we will take the shuttle to the hedo, but take the flight back when we go in June 2011.
