Rick's Cafe

Hello Everyone
We are taking our first trip to Hedo 2 in Feb and we heard Rick's Cafe is a must see. Is it far from the resort? Can you walk there or do you have to take a cab? Thanks in advance. Cheers.

For sure its a must see its a 30 min ride by cap

It`s a must do at least once. Awsome sunsets at Ricks.

You can take a cruise from the resort to there. They have two cruises, an afternoon stop and snorkel cruise and a sunset cruise to Ricks.
Just skip the cliff diving. tore my shoulder up years ago, still bothers me.

We did the sunset cruise it was fun, once at Rick's you can stay on the boat or jump of and swin to the cliff's. Less hassle no crowds. And remember if your going to go cliff diving it's Jamaica not USA or Canada think medical care!!!

The cruise is a fun way to go your first time and not miss the Hedo fun/vibe. The party continues all the way there. Also the resort can get you a cab there or you can walk thru the gate and there are cabs everywhere. They get cheaper on the main road but you need to be careful and negotiate up front.

I just got bombed the rest of the week when I tore my shoulder and tail bone up, and saw my Dr at home.
Never again.

I think thay said it changes with the water level, between 30+40 feet

Oh yeah and if the cliff divers see you watching them dive/jump off the cliffs/tree pay up. They will ask for money. If you buy something they will give you Jamaican currency back, this was an issue since we only had 50's didnt want to be schlepping wads of Jamaican cash around. Not a bad place, touristy though but a must see.

Loved Rick's cafe- made myself crazy tired going up and down the ladder and stairs like a little kid at the firehouse with the pole. Such a fun jump- wish they would have let me climb the tree too, but no luck... "no, mon....." was the answer!
Looking forward to going back with AWOL this year and taking some friends off the cliff- awesome!

A must do at least once. The best sunset in the Caribbean. Hedo front desk can help you with your ride.

Take a cab, or get a group and take a mini bus--lots of fun.
