Okay, here is a trip report from a first timer. Some of my opinions may not be completely accurate as comparisons since I have no previous trip to compare to.
We flew out of Houston at 6:52 am, flight was on time and landed in Miami on time. Unfortunately, we had a 4 hour lay over in Miami before heading to MBJ. My first decision is to schedule only when we can get a non-stop flight both ways...would make for a much shorter day. We left Miami with only a very minor delay and arrived on-time in Montego Bay. I was surprised to see that you do not exit the plan outside on the tarmac, as was stated in the book, I guess that's a recent improvement. Our walk to immigration was a little way and when we arrived the place was full. Even so, it only took about 30 - 45 minutes to get through immigration and perhaps another 10 through customs. When we walked into SuperClubs office and told them where we were going the said our bus was ready right then. We were escorted to a mini van that had several people inside. The loaded our luggage and we left within a couple of minutes.
The driver, OK Mike, was friendly and the rest of the people we were riding with were as well. They were all part of one group, for a wedding, heading for Grand Lido. We stopped for a drink at a small bar and were there for probably 15 minutes and then on our way again. After an uneventful ride we arrived at Hedo II, we were the only ones on the bus for Hedo. Our check in took all of 5 minutes, though the upgrade to the jacuzzi room was not available, and we were escorted to our room.
The room was clean, the mattress was good, and the showers had plenty of hot water. We never had a problem with not having hot water nor did we experience the all or nothing temperature problems that we read about. We stayed in room 2214, upstairs of course, and the only problem with the room was the window. It was an oceanview nude room, and one side of the window had slipped offtrack so it didn't close completely. The TV had no remote that we found bu t we only had it on while we were showering or stopping in the room for a few minutes. The ac was functional though not extremely cool. However, I never really tried to turn it down as we had the window open for much of our short trip.
We quickly dropped off our luggage, took a shower to freshen up, and headed over to the nude pool area/Delroy's Bar and got a drink. We strolled over to the nude beach and met some of Biff's Bunch who welcomed us. After a little while there we went up to the nude pool and hot tub. As we chatted with people we announced we were hedo virgins and I instantly got attention from a lovely lady from Canada who brought some Rum Cream over and poured it onto my "self" and promptly assisted Liz (and then took over herself) in licking it off! We stayed there until the crowd started to dwindle then headed to our room to shower again and don our togas.
We headed over to the main dining room where we did a bit of dancing and then into the room just off the piano bar where Biff's Bunch, part of them, were congregated. They promptly did a panty check on Liz and discovered she was NOT sans panties and would not relent until they got them removed! Liz then decided that each and every man there had to prove that THEY were sans underwear so she did a check herself on them.
Around 11:00 we left and went to the disco, it wasn't very crowded but we stayed a while and danced. After a bit we left to the hottub. I was surprised that there didn't seem to be more involvement in the toga party from EC's or Hedo staff. There wasn't any real organization so it was unclear what you should do or where to go to participate.
The hot tub wasn't crowed but there were several people, mostly couples, there. One note - we didn't see very many singles at all while we were there. We met a few single ladies and maybe a few more single males, but VERY few. Never saw a vinnie or a wally at all, well maybe one. We played a bit in the hot tub and then relaxed on some lounge chairs by the pool. PDA'S/PDP'S were plentiful the entire trip. We never heard anything said to anyone by staff about sex play. Our only negative experience came while we were relaxing on the chairs talking to one of the few single guys we met. His name was Joe and he was exactly what you would hope a single man would be. He was polite, not there trolling for sex, friendly but not pushing himself on you. He was sitting sideways on one lounger facing Liz who was sitting up straddling another one, and I was lying down on another one on the other side of Liz. The 3 or us were just talking, but we were all nude since we were at the pool. A man, I can only assume he was single, walked by a few times and then stopped...even though he wasn't invited nor did anyone acknowledge his presence. He too was naked, and he began to shake or tug, not really stroke or jerk off, his penis as he stood about a foot from Liz's face. I watched to see her reaction, I figured I was going to have to ask him to leave, but she simply ignored him. He wasn't a youngster, probably late 50's or early 60's, so his behaviour surprised me a bit. The 3 of us continued talking and ignored his being there. After a bit there was a pause in our conversation so he took this opportunity to ask her "So, do you want some of this?" as he continued to shake his penis. Without batting an eye, Liz simply looked at him and said, "You know, I would if only I could". And at that, he turned and left. So no harm done, but just a little strange.
We hit the sack around 5 am totally worn out. We were up and hit the beach again around 8:15 and started drinking mimosa's right away. After a few of these we were ready to go again and relaxed on the beach chatting with a few couples. Joe came by and sat down but didn't hang on or follow us around. He had many women come up talking to him as well. After a while on the beach we went back to the pool where we drank and partied with more people we had just met. Again around 5 or so people began to leave and so did we. We showered and dressed in our slut wear for the night. There wasn't much going on that night, and we went back to the pool pretty early...probably around 11 or so. We relaxed at the pool until around 2 and then went to bed, not to sleep, and got back out around 3. An hour later we hit the sack.
Saturday we were up around 8 and relaxing by the pool. Then headed up to the dining room for breakfast. The buffet was okay, not particularly exciting, but definately edible. We had been partying so much we had forgotten to eat the previous day, nor had we eaten Thursday night! After eating we went back to the pool. The crowd was a bit light since a lot of people were leaving that day. We ate lunch at Robert's grill. The hamburgers and grilled turkey, bacon, and cheese sandwiches were awesome! Later, the jerk chicken was unbelievable...though I later felt it! We showered and dressed for the night and danced a bit in the main dining area. The band was good and then at 11 we left for the disco. It was hot inside the club so we didn't stay long before we headed back to the pool. LOT'S of sex, BJ's, MFM's going on in the hottub. The beach area also had plenty of sex going on. We ended our night around 4:30 and hit the sack. Back up around 8:15 for breakfast and then packed to leave. We were both quite hungover and partied out at this point! We walked over to the pool a couple of times but didn't stay because it was strange being clothed over there (a big change for us both since this was our first c/o resort). Our bus left at noon so we just killed time until then. Neither of us felt like a drink, so we just walked around the resort. Finally said our goodbyes to all and left.
The ride back on the bus was not nearly as enjoyable as the ride there, we weren't looking forward to leaving at all! The line to check in was long, but it moved quickly. The line through immigration and customs went quickly also. Our flight left on-time and arrived on-time in Dallas, where we had a 2 1/2 hour layover. We got through customs and immigration quickly and then had dinner just in time to catch our 9:55 flight to Houston. We arrived on time and worn out and ready for some big time sleep!
Our only disappointment was that our trip was way too short, as everyone told us before hand. We had what we had, but 3 nights caused us to burn the candle at both ends without having a chance to recover before starting again. We also did not get to do the nude cruise, eat off-premises, go snorkeling, or experience the pj party. We will definately be going back!
