I know this is an old thread, but there is some sad news coming out of Rick's. A Canadian died jumping at the end of May. There's not a lot of info on what went wrong, but still a reminder that is comes with a lot of risk.

Shoulder still hurts sometimes after surgery a few years ago, end result of cliff diving at Ricks many years back.
Many do it without a problem, but land wrong just once and trust me, pain for the rest of your life.

I did the jump with no issues after beer pressure...
A lady of a couple we went with was not so lucky. While she didn't sustain long term injuries, she had a long, continuous bruise that ran from her lower back to the back of her left knee.
