Local Single Males .....

We are making our first visit to Hedo, in just 4 weeks. We hesitated to post this thread, because it might appear negatively spirited. But, it's a concern we've heard about from a few different couples who recently vacationed at Hedo .....

First, we'd like to say it has been our impression that single guys, in the lifestyle, are often unfairly treated and judged based on a pre-existing stereotype. While our lifestyle adventures do NOT include single men, we have established numerous "vanilla" style friendships with some decent guys.

We have heard various accounts, from friends who've recently visited Hedo, about local single males who visit Hedo on "day passes", especially on weekends. From what we have heard, these gentlemen are generally on premises for one physical, sexual purpose, rather than anything else.

If so, does this undermine the atmosphere of people meeting at a nudist/lifestyle resort for something more than simple sexual experiences? Is it difficult to avoid these guys? Once again, we realize single men can be unfairly judged, so we figured broaching the subject in this forum might be a worthwhile discussion.

To each their own .... we just assumed people visiting Hedo would be interested in friendship, along with sexually charged fun.

Can't say we have had any experience with local single males there. If they were in attendance they were well behaved and didn't stand out.

We've very rarely seen local single guys there. Of the few times we've seen them, they've been in the disco and just dancing. Occasionally they've approached me, but are pretty respectful and definitely have taken a polite no thank you to their advances. I don't think I've ever seen any local single guys at the nude pool/beach propositioning couples/women.

Aside from the usual "drink to much be a pain in the ass" or lingering and gawking around the nude pool until security runs them off we have never had any issues- and that was at H3, not sure if it's the same at H2. As a side note, by what I have read on these forums and others over the last several years there is definitely a demand for well endowed locals by the visiting ladies and couples... if there wasn't I would think they would look elsewhere- even on a locals discount it can't be cheap for a daypass.

OK, here's what we saw in December that we never saw (or noticed before.) Jamaican stud muffins were on premises and any interested party could hire them for whatever they wanted to negotiate a deal for. A couple of these guys came to the nude pool during the day and it wasn't long until they had made a deal and left to consummate the transaction (if you get my drift.) The same was true of young ladies on premises for the same type of arrangement. They were of no interest to us and the whole thing didn't affect us. I am however surprised with how open the whole business was and, though I'm no prude, it felt sort of strange to see professionals working the place. Maybe I've had my head in the sand, but this is to me a relatively new phenomenon. A couple of these guys were EXTREMELY well endowed (12 inches soft). The women we were hanging with winced and all they could imagine was pain... LOL, made for a good laugh. To each his (or her) own. Put it in the budget if you're interested.

i had seen the same thing at Hedo III but not so much at Hedo II, although I did see a couple of couples with young Jamaican girls in tow and I wondered.

Last July at H3 we witnessed one local semi forcefully removed from the nude pool fairly late in the night. The year before, two single males escorted off since they wanted to hang at the nude pool clothed. So, two problems with locals in 2 years, not too bad. The talk of escort services at hedo is a little mind blowing though. Come on, seriously, it's hedo, ask around before you pay for something, lol.

I know a bunch of Negril locals, they tell me that they like to go on their birthdays, gives them a good opening line and they always seem to hook-up, at least they tell me it's no problem........It's no secret that a lot of woman go to Ja looking for just that, so apparently there is a "need". The guys I know are all well behaved nice guys, but they say that security will toss em and not let them return if they are a pain in the ass. I know the female local working (professional) girls are tossed immediately if seen socliciting. I've run into them late at night and they didn't seem so nice.

Well, we didn't run into any locals at the resort, but we did venture off to the little island for lobsters one day. When the lobster guy asked if we wanted to take a "nature walk" to the other side of the island, we assured him that we were not interested in purchasing any smoke and he assured us that he understood that. So we set off on a very quick paced "nature walk". When we reached the other side of the island, our tour guide stripped to his boxers and dove into the water. My husband and I just stood there, very confused, thought maybe he was going to go and catch a lobster or something. Well, he swims back up with boxers in hand and a very impressive erection! Walks straight up to me, puts his arm around me and lays his hard-on against my leg and tells my husband to take a picture! We were just dumbfounded! So my husband snaps a picture (from the waist up!) and then our guide offers to take a picture of my husband and I together. So we take a couple pictures, then awkward silence, then "hey, how about we go check on those lobsters?". He gets dressed again and we "nature walk" back to the lobster cooking area. So, all in all, it was shocking but quite hilarious. Poor guy could have been in real trouble if he did that to a couple with no sense of humor. Made for a great story anyway. So, I guess the moral of the story is, don't take the "nature walk" if you are not into that sort of thing.

I agree with Caughtyoulookin !! we were there at the same time. The working folks were there, but it was really kind of harmless!! There was the old gray haired guy in the nude pool that had a different young lady each day ! My wife also said "OUCH"!!! when the young men came up. A lot of the couples had a really good laugh !!!!!!!!!

I almost forgot. One of the locals guys tried to propostion was of the older ladies in our group. She told him with a laugh "your much too young for me". He said "wait for a while and i'll bring my uncle back". LOL the truth !!!!!!!!!!!!

We've seen very few locals on the property, but have noticed the day passers from other resorts. Never had an issue with the exception of the guy who snapped a couple of pics at the hot tub late one night and nearly got his head ripped off. Then again I'm not even sure that he was not a guest who learned his lesson the hard way. If you are concerned about being hasseled don't be, a simple no thanks to anyone who approaches you is usually enough. Besides, whatever group you choose to hang out with will have your back.
