Ok ladies, I'm a little worried that our week may be my week of the wonderful woman curse! It's not exact but im cutting it really close. I dont want that to put a damper on our fun and i don't wanna b stuck on the prude no fun side cuz i have to wear panties to hide the string lol Any suggestions to avoid such a debacle?

If your on the pill adjust it, starting a few months before to ensure you wont have it that week.

My wife highly recommends the Diva cup. No one knows it's there, and it can be in while he's in.

Trim the string and tuck it up...works wonderfully. The INSTEAD cup is also good. No need to stay on the prude side or wear bottoms (perish the thought!)...just tuck & go!!!

Thanks for the advice, no pill for me i'm fixed so the OBGYN probably wont give it to me.... and i will look into the other suggested stuff.

My husband is fixed and the last 2 trips we took my weekly friend was going to interfere so I went to my Doctor and him I was going to a nude resort and what was going to happen and he put me on a medium hormone birth control pill the month before and I stayed on it while I was away and then went off it when I came back and started then. Talk to your Doctor and they may do it for you. It's not a big deal if you explain it, you never know!!! That could interfere with your comfortablility and your possible "fun in the sun" if you know what I mean, wink, wink, lol

Ask your Dr. to put on the 4 times a year pill you get it every three months. thats what the wife did she said its great

W e can't have anymore kids...4 is enough....but the Dr. put me on the pill to regulate my period. Just ask your ob/gyn I would almost gurantee they will put you on the pill temporarily at least til your vacation. And if by some chance you have a very un understanding Dr. then just cut the string and tuck nobody will notice.

Same here, we cant have more babies, and doc put me on bc pills so I could regulate everything. Wont hurt to ask

Nope and she would be a lot better off. My husband counts down my period before we book....lol 123 period nope not that week etc. That is one of the wonderful things about bc at least you know when its coming.

Instead Softcup works wonders, and you can still have sex while it's in place. However, you can talk to your Dr. about a temporary hormone for the week you will need it. I believe I took mine in the morning and evening, and had no flow the entire week. Just be honest and tell them you don't want your period ruining your vacation.
