Nothing special on Easter that I recall...though lots of the staff goes to service...as it is an important holiday with the church.

It's a religious holiday in Jamaica, like it is everywhere else that has the Christian religion represented. A large number of the staff will go to mass/church. We've been over Easter a half dozen times, as it corresponds with spring break here. I remember some staff at HIII telling us about eating bun and cheese, so we did too. It was black bread with cheese on it. Not sure what the significance was.

We were at Hedolll last easter.....it's a huge holiday in Jamaica.....they get an extra long weekend....last year the resort was taken over by local Jamaicans from Thursday to Monday....5 day holiday for them.....would say the guests at the resort were half Jamaican and the rest were other tourists....The locals don't do the nakid thing so the nude side was very quiet that weekend....Hedo lll had special events during that weekend....they called it " Carnaval " The axctivity crew formed 4 groups and recruited guest to perform on stage....some dance, song...a bit of acting. They had a competition where they put on a show one of the nights and the guests would determine which group won the contest by their applause. The only downfall to all this was all the time you had to comit to practicing for the show....a few hours a day for 3 or 4 days before the competition.....time that you can be sunning, drinking and partying....we past on participating in these events....

Our group, Spring Break, is definitely planning on the bunny theme - we hope everyone else will join us!!!

In fact, we've come up with a number of different themes for our group that all are welcome to join in IF THEY WISH. I'll post it on a separate thread.
