Just home again today from our yearly Bare Bottom Bunch group trip, we visit Hedo every New Years week . Up until this year, we have been a Hedo 3 group, but as everyone knows we had to find a new home and for now its Hedonism 2..We were there Dec. 27th2010 to Jan6th 2011. Our Highlight of the week was the Foam Machine that we rented for the Disco on the Wed. night. Hedo removed the skylight in the roof and the foam fell to the Disco floor, filling it to waist height. We did have a private group party from 10-10:30 and then opened the Disco at regular time for the rest of the resort to enjoy…Everyone seemed to have a good time and talked about it for days after…especially Ken who showed up in snorkel and Mask to `swim` through the foam, popping up every once in awhile. Apparently this was a first for Hedo2 and we plan to make a Foam Party a yearly group event.
We’ll not bore everyone with flight details and minute by minute replays of the week but must say that speed through Sangster was best ever on arrival…Mind you it was not a Saturday and we were the only plane in mid morning, so that helped. Weather for the week was excellent, sun every day and only rained once for about 5 minutes…and was only a drizzle. Temperatures mid 80’s every day and we had no problem running around Nekkid every night. The resort was sold out and every room booked, but the people were spread throughout the grounds, and never an issue…service was speedy and we were even able to get a lounge at the nude pool every day..even as late as 11 AM which we believed from all posts was an impossibility, but loungers were plentiful.
Resort and Facilities…reading the forum before we left, a lot of negative stuff posted. What is everyone talking about???? Although the rooms are not luxurious (we use them to sleep, shower and for pleasure only…not sit around in them all day), the AC worked properly the whole week. Hot water every day, not once an issue. Water pressure galore (although around 6:30 it dropped a bit, mainly due to the amount of people having showers all at the same time). AC in Martinos (Pastafari) was fine and working. All but one ceiling fan in the main dining room was turning. Piano Bar issues we had heard of before we went were resolved, however the AC there was not up to par and a bit warm in there. Dion was excellent and had the crowd humming. Disco was fine, never noticed any type of smell, could turn the volume down a bit. Bar service was prompt for the most part with the exception of New Years Eve…Too many people and not enough Bar space at Main bar..have suggested they open a satellite bar for that night to solve some of the congestion problems. New Years Eve party itself was a blast…only complaint here was that the entertainment could have ended sooner than 11:30 with a lot more dancing/party time. Grounds were clean, well kept and not even aware of any missing trees on the beach…still plenty of shade if you want it. Hot tub we were able to sit in each day...typically we went in at about 5 PM and then again around midnight. The temperature was never too hot nor too cold, it did vary a bit, but overall my guess was never colder than 98, nor higher than about 102-103...but that was our impression. Never too scalding to not be able to get in.
The only real 2 negatives for the week was the lack of EC involvement. They did their nightly show but were almost invisible during the day. Twice we saw Bocci Ball on nude beach (not a very Hedonistic activity in my opinion). They also did the typical shouting at the guests from the stage at meal times…tone it down with the shouting EC’s. For a sold out week we thought they would interact and do their games as in the past. On our last full day Jan5th with the resort at a guess 60% they were actually at the nude pool doing the usual Hedo games from the past which was nice to see, but wondered where they had been for 9 days.
Also was the lack of theme participation from the guests. we're used to H3 where 70% dress for theme vs. the 10% at H2. It seems guests at H2 were content to dress in slut wear for the girls and shorts for the guys...even PJ night was poorly represented. Perhaps H2 should toss the old theme nights and replace them with 7 new ones to get people in the modd again.
Comments on our Group week in general. Another amazing week with lots of great people at a new resort for us. Hedo 2 certainly made us Hedo 3 people feel welcome.
The Bare Bottom Bunch Events we had planned in advance went off without a hitch for the most part except our Monday Night Bonfire was cancelled due to high winds coming off the ocean that would have thrown sparks onto the Hotel buildings. Tuesday Meet and greet in the Disco well attended and the resort did a great job with the food spread…even had a chef carving Beef tenderloin. Wed. Erotic Gift exchange also went off without a problem and had a definite Fetish theme to the gifts. The Foam machine in the disco was a hit and we`ll do it again. A Special Nude cruise was arranged for Thursday AM to the reef and caves, Every one was welcome to come and we had about 80 people on the boat (although they claimed the actual number was 69…go figure!)
Pussy Printing on Thursday was a new activity for us and a blast…think finger prints, but a print of your pussy on a nice photographic paper suitable for framing. We made about 100 prints at the nude pool for people, tons of fun.
Friday Poker Run on the beach was not well attended, Seemed like sand gravity had set in by that time but for the 18 couples that took part the odds of winning the 3 free nights next New Years were much improved. We had such things as Coconut Bowling, A Fishing game, ring toss , water slide etc. At each game or activity you got a card. Seven events with the best 5 card hand winning. Four Kings was the winning hand.
Anyway, a long enough report after I promised not to be a minute by minute accounting, but We`ll be back Next New Years Dec 26 to Jan 2…rooms reserved and ready to go, just need people to fill them, hope to see you there next time with the Bare Bottom Bunch
