That's pretty much the rule...don't take pictures of people without their consent. We got up fairly early one morning on a sea day and took pictures around the ship when it wasn't crowded.

The organizers have a photographer that takes pictures for promotional materials, if you sign a photo release, they will give you a wristband, and he only takes pictures of people with wristbands. So, you can sign the photo release, get the wristband, and wear it whenever you don't mind having your picture taken and used on the couples cruise web site, advertising, etc.

Just like a "normal" cruise, the cruise line has photographers that take photos that get displayed in the gallery and are available for purchase. Although I doubt the pictures are as interesting on a "normal" cruise. We had fun just browsing the gallery, though we did end up spending too much money purchasing our own photos, a few of which you can see in the Cruise Pictures section of this site.

    Wine Package- info

Okay so I love my red wine and looking for advise

The only other cruise we went to was with Azamara- Mediterrean curise & wine was included with lunch & dinnner so we never bought a package. Now I want to know how the wine packages work. I went online & found this info in Cruise Critics but still have some questions.

    1) If you buy a wine package, can you have your wine available at all the restaurants ( we tend to like to dine at some of the restaurants that you need to pay additional fees) I read you can drink half s bottle & they will keep it for you the next day.
    2) Can you bring the wine back to your room & where else are you allowed to drink this wine you purchase ( assuming you would not be allowed to bring it into any of the bars or evening theme dances)

Here is what I found online- any advise is welcome. Thinking of purchasing the Platinum package of 5 bottles. Has anyone done this before & is it worthwhile? Noting I found another post that indicates that you would save on each bottle in the package vs if you bought a bottle at the restaurant

Wine packages ( price per bottle indicated)- this is what I found online- actual prices may differ. Royal Caribbean's website link to wine packages was not working tonight when I searched(it indicated check back later)

    GOLD
    5 - $135; $27
    7 - $180; $25.70
    10 - $245; $24.50

    PLATINUM

    7 - $195; $27.85
    10- $265; $26.50
    12- $300; $25

    DIAMOND
    5 - $180; $36
    7 - $240; $34.30

I can answer some of your questions...Kelli and I got the Platinum package on the April 2011 cruise, and will probably do the same on the November cruise.

You can get wine package wines in the specialty restaurants. I don't know about having them hold a partial bottle, we never needed to...we always finished the bottle at dinner or shared with other couples.

I don't know about taking wine to the cabin or other bars. I imagine you could get a bottle from your package in any venue that sold wine by the bottle, but again, never dealt with partial bottles.

On the last cruise, I decided that the package was a better deal compared to individual bottle prices. I looked at the prices you listed, I think they are correct, but don't forget there's a 15% gratuity added to the package price...

Also St Maartin is sold out if you have your own gear, but if you use their gear its still available....Guess we'll just have to find another way....to go down!
Wow! I'm glad we got our reservations in early!! The difference between with and without gear is only about $10 isn't it? I was really looking forward to diving with you in St. Maarten! I should check with our other dive buddies... we were supposed to go together at Cococay...

Well, we called RCCL and they gave us an email to people in charge of the shore excursions and we got 2 spots on the dive in St Maartin now! So now we are trying to work them over for 2 spots for the shore dive in Cococay....
