Condition of grounds

Wife and I will be arriving at Hedo on Dec 16th. We had heard that one of the storms last summer had done some damage to the property including the pier, which I heard had been blocked off. For those just returning how are things now?

We sure didn't notice any damage issues the 1st week of Nov. Only the bridge walk at the water slide is still closed.

They are taking down that bridge by the water slide to expensive to fix.

Other than the bridge,that is one of the things i really enjoy about H2 is the gardens.They always keep the place well kept and trimmed. I always take a walk around the place just for a break,and take it in. They have been painting alot this year.Same colors..but the upkeep is noticeable.

Hi one finger pier was cracked in half first week in november. if you look below the pier on the bottom there is rubble from one that broke off years ago

Alot of leaves & branches missing from the trees along the nude beach. These may be filled back in by the time you get there.

Back at the beginning of August, everything seemed to be in fairly good repair.

Just returned from HII last night. Everything is in good shape. They were short of floaties for the beach chairs but brought some over from the now defunct HIII
