safe safes

Any news from anyone re: the safes in the rooms? Last time we were there they were subject to pilfering (we lost cash from ours). There were posts elsewhere showing how the safes were being opened.

Has anyone experienced the problem in 2010? Is the problem well over and done with?

We anticipate a return this Fall, but want assurances the problem is now past.

I have not had a problem either,I think there were a couple of loose safes ,but don't know the outcome..... Last couple of trips I did not hear any thing about it. However there is more security now than in the past .

I leave my laptop and cash and passports, etc in the safe on all our trips and never had a problem.

We left cameras, wallets and cash in the safe. The laptop was usually out, charging. Never had a problem on two trips.

Your mileage may vary, and if the laptop ever disappeared it would suck, but it would not be like someone had died, things break, things get stolen etc. Our data is backed up on the cloud and we would get over it pretty quickly and hit Best Buy for a replacement.
