Cop, let me know how the P90X is working out for you, I just bought and am going to start in the next few days. I am worried about being able to go full throttle with it, since the Army is having me see a specialist to look at my rotator cuff when I get back to the States. My plan is to do what I can without further aggravating my shoulder.

I am on week #2 now and love it. I hate the pull ups but yes you could switch to the bands and lessen the resistance. But as stated you can modify it. Hell I am still doing most of my push ups on my knees instead of full push up position. But they constantly say your starting you wont be able to do what they are doing on the videos, the idea is to get there and be able to do that at the end.
After workout #1 on day 1 I could not lift my arms above my head on Tuesday. Today on week #2, just a little sore but full movement. Must be getting better already. Lost 6lbs on week #1. I love the straight weight lifting day and Kenpo X rocks, man thats a great routine (like Tie Bo I hear).
And the good news is day #90 is the day before vacation starts in Sept and just over a week before we hit H2 to check it out for our group. Hopefully I will be looking good for H2 by Sept 14th.

On Week #3 now and WOW its still kicking my butt. Just did Plyometrics, what a work out. With all this hard work this crap better work, lol.
I do think I see a change happening in shoulders and arms already though, so motivation to keep going hard.

Just finishing up week 3, after doing the full 90 days. It definately will work if you watch what you eat and keep doing it. I have lost 19 lbs since starting in Feb, I could do 8 pullups when I started and now I am up to about 18 on each set, it does get easier, honest.
I m down 20 pounds an 12 inches, I am in month 2 week 2. My SO has lost 3-4 but his arms are ripped. He really only had a small belly to begin with his is pretty thin so he just wants to add muscle but his legs got bigger and that's awesome. I want to lose another 20.
