Has anybody tried out the Club MoBay thing. By the time we land I'm so excited to get naked I go crazy waiting in the line at immigration. If it really saves time perhaps it's worth it!

after April 16-21 I'll let you know.
Club MoBay VIP Arrival service is well worth the money depending on the day and time of your arrival. The flight we usually take is the first flight into MoBay on Saturday and they are usually turning on the lights in immigrations as we walk in. This year, our flight got delayed and we arrived 4 hours late. Luckily for us, our room at Hedo included club MoBay. The line was very long, coming in from both directions because of all the arriving flights at that time. Our Club MoBay rep walked us to much shorter lines with other VIP Arrivals. Once through all the lines, we were offered use of the VIP lounge for cold towels and drinks and snacks but we chose to hang out with friends who did participate.
We have thought of using it, but never flew in at a busy time so it would be a waste of money. This year we land at 9:15am on Friday so we know it won't be busy. The departure one is nice, especially if you take the bus which leaves early for the airport.
If you are leaving Jamaica on Saturday, which is the busiest travel day of the week at MoBay/Sangster Airport, then I strongly recommend the Club MoBay fast-track service. It is definitely worth the $33/person on departure, where I once waited in a crowded airport line so long just to get through exit immigration and security that I barely made it to my departing flight (and had to forget about shopping at the Airport mall stores as planned). Going to the Club MoBay lounge by Gate 12, and having a final Red Stripe and some appetizers while charging up my cell phone, was a relaxing way to end a week-long Jamaican vacation instead of waiting in long lines and racing to board my departing flight. If you are leaving Jamaica at a less busy time on Sunday or a weekday, though, I probably wouldn't pay for Club MoBay.
I haven't used Club MoBay on arrival yet, as it was $75/person on arrival when I went to Jamaica in early 2014. I opted to wait in line for entrance immigration, baggage claim and customs which was no fun, then had to wait for some time anyway after reaching my bus transport until other bus passengers arrived. No point in paying $75/person to fast-track through customs and immigration on arrival, if you will only have to wait around anyway for transport to the resort.
We arrived on a sat in march and did the the club mobay both ways. On arrival the reg.lines were over 2 hrs. Long we used mobay and we were on our way to hedo in less than a 1/2 hr. When we left coming home it was worse. If you did not use it I would use it again both ways
How do you get this & where ? Reservations are already made, is it too late ?
We have done club mobay it wonderful.
We have not done Club Mo Bay on the way in, but on the way out, it is highly recommended. It makes for a very relaxing time on the way back home and blitzing through security to get to a relaxing lounge is well worth the cost for the few hours at the airport.
Cheers,
Stef and Em
Thanks for all the info.
We used it for the first time in Jan for departure only and we really liked it. Well worth the price you are ushered through tbe lines and the lounge is great it has three separate sections the food was good and drinks were also included. If you are a smoker you get access to the smoking lounge as well. We both agreed we would do it again for departure. They also store your carry on so you can walk around and shop with out dragging it around.
We get to find out about Club Mobay first hand this Saturday. I figure it is better to have it and not need it than being stuck in a two hour line.
