We only know of one person who upgrades when he checks in with cash. That is it.Quote:

We have been upgraded without paying anything extra as there was a mix up with our original room being reserved for another reservation for part of our stay.
From our experiences of booking through third parties and directly with Hedo, we would highly recommend booking direct in case there are any issues, you are taken care of instantly vs having to contact who you booked through which in our case turned into a real hassle and a couple of weeks to resolve the issue so that we were not out of pocket.

Well the "wink wink" part of it went out with the new ownership about 5 or 6 years ago, but if available they will take cash I'm sure.

We are still going forward with are July trip crossing are fingers
