Looking do give the old girl one last try and see if anything has changed since last year.
We are going the same days, 4nts in july 7- 11 staying with the same group and are taking the same flights as last year and the price of the trip is approx 475 more. 250 of the increase for the Airline Tickets leaving as the price for the resort.
Has anything been done to warrant a price increase?
Is the increase a new tax or are the group rates not as good this year?

Our group rates have not changed since last year, can't speak for other groups. Maybe contact the group hosts or travel agents and ask them. That's my suggestion
We actually have better rates this year than last year, lol.

We too have great group rates too. Summer is usually a better rate anyway . Hopefully the deal will be done and you will see some improvements by then ....

Almost 10 months out and our group has the same price for next New Years as the one just past...so no price increase for us either. The resort is about the same pending new ownership taking over nothing has really been done yet. Did you use a coupon/voucher/Hedo Points last year that you are not using this year? Using a different travel agent maybe? We also just purchased our flight and saved $300 vs. last year (330 days out is cheapest rate we find for us...first six seats on plane always on sale)
