Looking for lifestyle camping trips in New England

Do you take hand-held flashlights with you camping? When my wife and I went to spend the night in the Adirondack in the server part of New York State, to Lake George Escape along the Schrun River dam, we took only a large flashlight, which had just died in the middle of the night. We could use phones, but we don't take phones on such trips so that no one bothers us. It was scary, and there was no moon or stars in the sky yet. It was completely dark. Since then, we have always bought a hand lantern on Amazon recently (this one https://www.amazon.com/Vont-Flashlig.../dp/B089T8HDBV ). So take hand-held flashlights with you.
