I know some of the bar tenders use some banana liquour in the dirty bananas either added to the banana or in place of it when they are out of them. And they use simple syrup not sugar but simple syrup is basically liquified sugar so no worries.
Not sure if the sex on the beach is the traditional one of the one you had in Jamaica but it should be good for a start.
Some of the bartenders will also add white rum. I like the added rum so I make them just like the above, but with a healthy dose of rum :cheers:Quote:

For a quick fix we use Friday's Mudslide Blender Mix with a little extra rum and a banana. Takes about 30 seconds to make, a minute to blend- and you are off and running!

don't know the recipe but... Jamaican sex on the beach is creamy not fruit juice. One bartender at Breezes told me I had to settle for sex on the bar cuz he would get in trouble for leaving and going down to the beach - cracked me up
