We will be getting into MOBay the day before our check-in to Hedo and want to stay in Negril the first night to get an early start on the Saturday.
Anyone recommend a good cheap hotel close to the resort? Foote Prints on the Sand comes up on hotel.com. May try there unless we get better options on here.

Plenty of places up and down the beach. I'd look into it soon and get it arranged because many have a three night minimum stay.

check any of the sites mentioned above then go directly to their own site for details. Expedia has tons of info on many Negril hotels, get your info there and book somewhere else or directly with the resort.

Might want to stay in Mobay to try something different....the Hipstrip is fun and a totally different vibe than Negril. Hotels there, all around 100-120 per night would be Toby's, Doc Caves and The Wexford. Stayed in them all and are fine for just an overnight. Lots of cool bars...Twisted Kilt, Bobsled, Margaritaville, Pier One just to name a few.

Catch a Falling Star Hotel. Beautiful view, on the cliffs, great restaurant (Ivans). it is right beside Rick's Cafe
Catcha is lovely, but likely not taking you for just one night. Onestop can definitely help you out, send them an email. We've worked with Bob & Susan for years and they do a great job keeping track of the little hotels on the beach and cliffs. If it is just for the night, Bar-B-Barn on the beach should take you. Not sure how well Footeprints is doing these days, stayed there years ago. Might also check with Xtabi up on the cliffs. Easy enough to just shoot onestop an email and ask them about the one night minimum. Have fun...we stay in Negril all the time....love all the little hotels!
