Southwest trip in january

My husband and I are planning to visit our son for 10 days in Santa Fe mid January. He's taking time off from work and would like to leave Santa Fe for the week, preferably within an 8 hour drive where we can all hike and relax. We'd all like to go somewhere warmish, say 60 degrees and over.

the orient land trust in Alamosa Colorado is less then 4 hours lots of naked and very scenic 2 hours north is Dakota hot springs that's where we go most closer to Denver
also Orvis hot springs even more beautiful but about 6 hours away
