September - what's it like there then?

We went to Hedo for 4 days at the end of January for the first time - we LOVED it. I understand that we were there the last week of Lifestyles. We made love on the raft almost every day and at the hot tub every night - it was delicious!!!

So we got the discount e-mail this week offering the free night in September and we're seriously thinking about it - but what will it be like then? Is istreally rainy? Will we feel OK having the same "freedoms" that we did before - I mean it's not like everyone was having sex all the time - but enough that we didn't feel a problem with taking action when the mood struck (and it seemed to strike often).

We want that again - but going in a couple of weeks instead of waiting months, plus those cheap rates make septemeber look reallllly good!!!

Anyone been in September? Thoughts?

I have been there in September the last 4 out of 5 years. The crowds are smaller than what you witnessed in January. Smaller crowds do not mean less fun. It just means no line to get drinks, no searching for a table in the dining room or getting a Pastafari reservations with only a few hours notice. If you want to take advantage of the raft at mid day and the hot tub at night, even if no one else is, go right ahead. It may jump start others.

Because I don't want to actually have to resort to making love in the room!!!

What Joe said. We have about 80 members that hit either H2 or H3 each September. Lots of friends over the years. We take all strays :)

when in September HedoKurious?

We've gone to H2 in early September the last several years. The crowds will be much smaller than in January & likely a bit more reserved (at least they were when we were there). You can, of course, get the party going yourself & yes, it's always hard to resist those promotions SC offers when occupancy is low.

It's also a great time to meet new people since there are so fewer people at the resort & we've had some real fun times during September & met some incredibly diverse people. We've also been almost bored at times with only about 10 people on the nude beach...but hey, it's vacation....and being bored is okay.

We've found September trips to be more 'vacation like' and more relaxing. You definitely don't have to wait for drinks or dinner or for towels, etc. But it can also be downright quiet (which is not a problem, just pointing it out).

You are also taking your chances regarding the weather. It is steamy as heck in September and prone to rain as it is prime hurricane season. None of that has ever stopped us, but we're also happy napping away in the room or in a cabana while it rains for a few hours (or a day if you get real unlucky). We're not talking little misting rain either...but damn if there isn't a tropical storm bearing in on Jamaica rain.

The vibe will definitely be different than during Lifestyles in January. But if there is a group going, that might change things. In any event, the vibe is always different at different times of year & depending on the occupancy & groups...but it is always H2, so how can you resist?

All that being said, if Chris had more vacation left this year we'd like take a 4 or 5 night to H2 in September to take advantage of the sale.

As mentioned above, if it is not high, high season, joining an existing group might make it more fun and sociable.
Thats what I did.

If you are considering Hedo III, there is a fun bunch going Sept 6 to the 13. The Jamaican Water Slide Team.

A last minute deal on a flight coupled with the Hedo Room sale could be a great vacation.

We have hooked up with the "Naughty Bits" group and will be there (Hedo II) August 30th thru September 6th! Word has it that they are a fun "naughty" group! :)

Normally, a short rain shower comes through about the same time every day. Last year, we had an extended rain shower and it got very cozy under the overhang at Delroy's both standing and in the swim up side. Another year, a bunch of us played volleyball on the beach in the pouring rain.
