Best way to book DRM + airfare?

We are planning our first trip to an all inclusive, and thanks to posts in this forum, we chose DRM. What's the best way to book your resort and flights? Use an agent or just book direct? I saw the forum link so the forum gets a commission. Just trying to get the most fun for our budget. And is it worth it to upgrade to more expensive rooms? We don't plan on spending much time in the room. Also, any scam sites to lookout for? Saw one today with rates way way lower than anywhere else and it raised a red flag.

We started booking with DennyP and have never been able to find a better price. Im guessing any reputable TA is going to deliver an equivelent level of service, but we can absolutely vouch for Denny. 10+ trips and ZERO regrets. Airfare is easy to just do the Travelocity type web search. If you dont intend to do the sunset on the balcony thing, then book the cheapest room you can get and dont look back. We spend so little time in our room that it doesnt even need to have windows as far as we're concerned. We have ALWAYS been satisfied with this scheme.
