US dollars is just fine. Although, you won't it on the resort (unless you buy from the "market people", or anything on the water the resort does not include). We had our credit card in case we wanted to buy things at the shop or book an outing.

Sure wish we were going in 35 days.....I mean cumming! Have fun!
