One week to go for us, we're getting super excited! It will be so good to leave the snow and cold behind for a week. I think the anticipation of the trip is almost as good as the trip itself!
We booked about a month ago and the shopping, fashion shows for hubby and what ifs have made for a great time, wish we were there now but the anticipation and build up has been great. We have traveled a lot so this first time adventure as we are calling it has been fun right from the time of booking. We will be driving to Toronto the night before to stay over also as you never know what weather we may get. The cold here is about to break with plus temp for most of next week.
Yep the excitement leading up to the trip is fantastic. Lots of outfits have been tried on here for the theme nights and a suitcase is started already. We have to fly through Toronto this time, in fact we are staying overnight there on the way down. We booked too late and it was all we could get. There are direct flights from Winnipeg but they're way more expensive. It will be hard to get the trip underway and not be in Jamaica the same day but it will be worth the wait when we get there.
We have read a lot on this site and others with excitement taking over. The people on the site have been great answering any concerns we had. The temp's have been okay here until this week so now we too will be glad to escape the cold. We are there a day before you so we will have a drink ready for you when you arrive. Do you fly direct or do you have to fly to Toronto first ?
Hi there, no not our first time, we were there for the first time last May. We had a blast and have been anxious to go back ever since. You will really enjoy it, just go with an open mind and stay in your comfort zone. The facilities are kinda dated but the atmosphere more than makes up for it. We're looking forward to getting out of the cold and anywhere were we can be naked in February is great for us. Looking forward to meeting up with you down there, sounds like there will be more than a few Canadians down there during our week
