A/C Issues please

A couple of trips ago we left some food on the dresser in the room. When we came back a couple of hours later it was totally covered with the tiniest ants we've ever seen, very gross. We called and they came and sprayed and it took care of the problem, never saw another one for the rest of the week.

Just left the resort this morning. Nude side ocean view...no AC issues, in fact it was freezing most times when returning to the room. Like someone else who posted, I never heard anyone complain about the air.

We were at Hedo last week (nude ocean view) and had ice cold air all week. I also noticed new air units all around the nude side. We talked with lots of people and didn't hear anyone mention having a/c issues. And it was blazing hot out all week. That said we didn't hang on the prude side at all, so don't know the story over there.

Regarding bugs, we've been to many nice places in the Caribbean, and Hedo was amazingly bug free for the tropics. However, one night CK put a partly used hard candy back in its wrapper on the nightstand at night. The next morning tiny Pharoah ants were all over it. We got rid of the candy, wiped the table and didn't see the ants again. Pharoah ants don't bite and you won't see them unless you leave food out.

Stayed on the nude side last week, no A/C issues. I was worried following the 1st post but everything was fine.

We were there Aug 5-15 and never had one issue with the A/C. We stayed on the nude side in H-Block. In fact, we had to turn the temp up at times because it got too cold! It was hot and humid most days with many rainy afternoons. We did have an issue with the floors getting damp because of the cool air and damp air mixing, but once we found the right temp (25 C), we stuck with it and had no problems.
